The Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship (EDU-NC) is launching a new series of educational comic books designed to illustrate the main advances in the Congolese education system, as presented in the activity report covering June 2024 to February 2025, titled: “Review and Outlook for the Education Sector: Activity Report from June 2024 to February 2025” Images in the Service of Civic Education

With this series of comic books, the Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship is introducing a new way to make educational reforms visible and understandable. By drawing on the universal language of images and storytelling, this initiative aims to present the school system in a different light, bringing public policy closer to the realities experienced by communities.

The first episode, “Up There, a School,” recounts the rebirth of a long-forgotten village that sees a new school spring up, a symbol of free education and educational renewal. Through this simple yet powerful story, public policies take the form of concrete narratives, bringing hope and transformation.
