The Annual Performance Review (APR) conference opens this Thursday, July 17, 2024, in the Kasa-Vubu sub-division, located in the Kinshasa-Funa educational province.  Scheduled to last two days, this year’s RAP is themed “Improving the Quality of Education to Stimulate Socio-Economic Development.” Jean-Marie Mvunzi, Director of the Funa Educational Province, who attended the opening ceremony, encouraged participants to contribute their expertise to produce high-quality work. The Deputy Director of Kasa-Vubu, Jude Nkaka, stated that on this first day, the focus will be on presenting the 2023-2024 operational action plan, the analysis of indicator monitoring, and the analysis of the school map.
The operational action plan is a compilation of the schools’ development plans, so we present these topics, review what has been accomplished—along with the percentage achieved—and identify what has not been done and why. In the school zoning analysis, we will address the closure of certain unviable schools, the reopening of certain schools that were closed, and changes to the structures,” he explained.
The Annual Performance Review (APR) is conducted each year in schools, subdivisions, educational provinces, and at the national level. The objective is to evaluate the 2023–2024 Operational Action Plan (OAP), which will lead to recommendations for the following year. These meetings involve the participation of, among others, subdivision services, Dinacope, the steering committee, the teachers’ union, and many others. Ouriel Mangitukwa
