The recruitment competition for teachers and principals was launched on Monday, March 18, in several subdivisions of the Kongo Central 1 educational province. In the spirit of equity and inclusivity in the education system, two candidates—one visually impaired and the other blind—took part in the competition in the Boma subdivision. They are Patrick Amina and Jean-Pierre Khonde Nzita, who are participating thanks to the translation of the exam questions into Braille. It should be noted that in the Kongo Central 1 educational province, the competition is scheduled for March 18–22. The recruitment exam for teachers and principals is a reform introduced by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (EPST) to ensure the quality of staff who contribute to improving the quality of education.
