The smooth conduct and proper organization of the National Primary School Graduation Exam (ENAFEP) are of the utmost importance to officials at all levels within the Ministry of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST). In line with this, the authorities of the Haut-Katanga 1 educational province convened, on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, the provincial supervisors of the certification exams, members of the provincial ENAFEP committee, to raise their awareness regarding the proper organization and smooth conduct of the exam, which begins this Thursday, June 1, 2023, and concludes the following day. "We want tomorrow’s exam to be well-organized in all testing centers across our educational province. We do not want any instances of misconduct from start to finish. The ENAFEP is free for all our children in the public sector as well as those in the accredited private sector. No child should miss tomorrow’s exam. Let’s make sure of that," officials emphasized. As a reminder, the Ministry of EPST has made its toll-free number, 178, available to the public so that anyone—parents, students, or witnesses—can report any irregularities, particularly the illegal collection of participation fees or violence in schools.
