ENAFEP 2023: Over 30,000 finalists lined up at Kongo Central 2
A total of 32,885 students, including 15,787 girls, took the National Primary School Graduation Exam (ENAFEP) on Thursday, June 1, in the province of Kongo-Central 2.
Unlike the 2021–2022 school year, which saw 31,360 students enrolled, including 15,135 girls, the 2023 ENAFEP saw a 4.6% increase.
In the Kongo-Central 2 educational province, the exam began at EP Kinzonzi in Mbanza-Ngungu, with the territorial administrator Willy Makumbani giving the starting signal in the presence of local education authorities.
During the ceremony, the director of the Kongo-Central 2 educational province, Jean Tshisekedi Kabasele, offered words of encouragement to the graduating students.
“Dear children, take this exam calmly; have confidence in yourselves,” he said.
The graduating students of Kongo Central 2 are distributed across 138 testing centers.
This year, 2,119,100 candidates, including 1, ,020,448 girls, are expected across the entire country. They will be distributed across 8,232 testing centers and 2 centers outside the country’s borders, specifically in Luanda and Kabinda, Angola.
The National Primary School Graduation Exam takes place from June 1 to 2.
