64,260 sixth-grade students took the National Primary School Graduation Exam (ENAFEP) from June 1 to 2 in the Kasaï Central 1 educational province. The students were distributed across 97 testing centers. No incidents were reported, reassures the provincial director of the EPST, Arthur Mputu Mutombo. “In my educational province, the ENAFEP took place under optimal conditions and without incident. We thank the President of the Republic and the minister in charge for the full implementation of free primary education throughout my educational province,” stated Arthur Mputu Mutombo, director of the Kasaï Central 1 educational province. To ensure the exams proceeded smoothly, education officials visited several ENAFEP testing centers. On June 1, graduating students were tested on French and general knowledge. On June 2, they were tested on science and mathematics. It should be noted that it was the provincial vice-governor, Martin Makita Mfuamba, who launched the National Primary School Graduation Exam (ENAFEP) on Thursday, June 1, at the Diakaja School Center in the commune of Katoka.
