30,416 final candidates, including 15,408 girls. This is the exact number of students registered, as of Monday, May 8, 2023, for the 2023 State Exam’s out-of-session exams in the North Kivu 2 educational province.
These figures, announced by the provincial chief inspector, reveal a slight increase in the number of candidates compared to last year.
“For this school year, our educational province has registered a total of 30,416 students, including 349 in the long cycle and 67 in the short cycle. Broken down by gender, this gives us 15,008 boys and 15,408 girls,” said the Provincial Chief Inspector of North Kivu 2.
He also urged parents to monitor their children’s progress to better prepare them for the upcoming exams.
“Dear parents, this part of the exams is just one stage of the national certification exam. I recommend that you continue to monitor your children’s progress, because after the special exam session, the second-semester school exams and the regular state exam session will take place. Let us all support our candidates with unwavering guidance so that our province ranks highly on the national scale,” insisted the Provincial Chief Inspector.
The Katwa Institute, located in the Katwa neighborhood of the Mususa commune in the city of Butembo, North Kivu, served as the venue for the launch of these exams in the presence of political and administrative authorities.
The official launch of these exams took place in Kinshasa, led by the Deputy Minister of EPST, Aminata Namasia.
