EXETAT 2023: Charles Mbutamuntu oversees the launch of the ordinary session in Kinshasa

In Kinshasa, the provincial minister of education, Charles Mbutamuntu, officially launched the regular session of the 2022–2023 State Examination on Monday, June 26. The event took place at the Gombe 1 Institute. Accompanied by the provincial directors (PROVED) of four other educational districts in the city of Kinshasa, the minister was welcomed by the PROVED of Lukunga, Jean Pierre Yoy Bokete. In his remarks, the director of the Lukunga educational district began by extending a few words of welcome to his guests. He then urged the final-year students to be more diligent during these national exams. Minister Charles Mbutamuntu, for his part, commended the commitment of the student committee as well as the officials present at the ceremony. This was followed by a tour of the exam center’s facilities. It should be noted that for this year’s exams, approximately 1,002,806 final-year high school students took part in the tests. This figure represents an increase of 74,873 candidates compared to the 2022 exams, which had 927,933 participants. Paulin Ngenda
