Exetat 2024: President Tshisekedi insists on credible results

On July 3, 2024, the General Inspectorate of National Education and New Citizenship published the timeline for the release of results for the 2023–2024 State Examination in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. To ensure the credibility of these results, Head of State Félix Tshisekedi has asked Ms. Raïssa Malu, Minister of State and Minister of National Education and New Citizenship, to ensure the reliability of the grading and publication process to guarantee credible results.

“The President of the Republic has tasked the Minister of State, Minister of National Education and New Citizenship, with strictly overseeing the reliability of the process and the credibility of the results. Specifically, this involves ensuring timely support for service providers and managing the technical aspects related to the publication of results by the selected operators,” according to the minutes of the Council of Ministers meeting on Friday, July 5.

These instructions from the Head of State corroborate the recommendations contained in the Procedures Manual for the organization of this exam since 2023. This manual provides a general and concise overview of the various stages and requirements for the successful and reliable conduct of these exams, from the registration of candidates to the publication of results. The Procedures Manual was also designed and adopted to formalize the procedures for the national exam throughout the country. The objective is to enable the various stakeholders to manage deadlines, the growing number of candidates each year, the composition and drafting of test items in strict accordance with guidelines, the printing and packaging of test booklets, the grading, and the publication of results.
