Ms. Irène Esambo announced the imminent establishment of an interministerial commission bringing together all stakeholders in the national education system to address inclusive education. She made the announcement on Monday, August 21, following her meeting with the head of the EPST, Tony Muaba. According to the Minister Delegate for Social Affairs in charge of people with disabilities, this ad hoc commission will be tasked with developing strategies to implement the law on inclusive education for people with disabilities and to promote their employability. "There will be an interministerial commission because, as you know, education encompasses the EPST, the ESU, vocational training, and social affairs—and above all, we are also involving the employment sector, so an interministerial commission is necessary," Irène Esambo explained. Tony Muaba reassured his host of his commitment to the education of people with disabilities. The Minister of EPST, according to Irène Esambo, instructed the Secretary General of EPST, Christine Nepa Nepa, to appoint the EPST experts who will serve on this commission. Ouriel Mangituka
