The 2023–2024 State Exam’s off-session exams began on Monday, May 6, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In the Kasaï 2 educational province, 19,968 candidates are taking these exams, including 7,468 girls.
In this educational province, the kickoff ceremony took place at the Nkolela Center and was led by the administrator of the Mweka territory, François Minga Mbengele. Provincial Chief Inspector (IPP) Jean Makasinga Agimondo, who provided these statistics, added that the participants are spread across 76 testing centers. They come from 1,205 classes across 15 subdivisions of the Kasaï 2 educational province. In his remarks, Jean Makasinga Agimondo, Provincial Director of the Kasaï 2 EPST, paid tribute to Head of State Felix Tshisekedi for making the education of Congolese children one of his top priorities as leader of the country. He also urged all stakeholders to combat anti-social behavior during the administration of these exams. These exams generally take place over a period of one week.
