Kasaï-Central 2: proved Jean-Gabin Mukuey Mapepe died in Kinshasa following a traffic accident

The Director of the Kasaï-Central 2 EPST Educational Province, Jean-Gabin Mukuey Mapepe, died on the evening of Monday, March 25, 2023, following a traffic accident that occurred near the Matete Bridge, not far from the PALU party headquarters in Kinshasa. The information was confirmed to the Communication Management Directorate (DGC/EPST) by the Provincial Chief Inspector of Kasaï-Central 2, Mr. Didier Mangi Mayobo, who said he had been informed by the EPST General Secretariat and the deceased’s wife. "He was struck by a motorcycle last night near the PALU headquarters while coming down from the Matete Bridge. He was taken to the university clinics, but unfortunately he did not survive; he passed away. The General Secretariat sent a notice, and we also received the information from his wife, after which we relayed it at our level," he stated. While awaiting the funeral arrangements from the General Secretariat, the IPP adds, a wake is scheduled for the night of Tuesday into Wednesday, March 27, at the Provincial Directorate of the EPST.
