A decree issued by Dieudonné Pieme Totukot, governor of Kasai Province, sets the registration fee at 65,000 FC for the essay exam and 60,000 FC for the State Exam (EXETAT) itself.
For the TENASOSP (National Selection, Academic, and Career Guidance Test), the fee is set at 35,000 FC.
This information was provided to the editorial staff of the Communications Management Directorate of the Ministry of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST) by the provincial minister of education, Antoine Bushabu Bope.
“Anyone who adds even one franc more than what is set in the decree will face the full force of the law. I call for compliance with this decree,” said the provincial Minister of Education, Antoine Bushabu Bope.
Furthermore, the Primary School Leaving Examination (ENAFEP) is free of charge throughout the entire country.
Indeed, this exam marks the end of the primary education cycle, which has been free in the Democratic Republic of the Congo since President Tshisekedi took office in 2019.
“We ask parents to report any instances of requests for money related to the ENAFEP to our offices, which are available throughout the province,” the minister stated.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education accepts complaints and reports from third parties via its toll-free number, 178.
This Allô École service number allows users to contact the Ministry of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education directly through its Communications Management Directorate.
The goal is to provide a platform for expression, offer solutions, and address the concerns of parents, educational partners, and any other concerned individuals in order to combat negative values in schools and strengthen the principle of free primary education in the DRC.
