As part of ongoing efforts to improve working conditions for executives and staff at his ministry, Minister Tony Mwaba Kazadi has just launched construction on a new building for the Communication Management Directorate of the Ministry of EPST (DGC-EPST). The groundbreaking ceremony for this new administrative building took place on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, during a dual ceremony attended by the minister at the same complex that also houses the RTEDUC offices in Kinshasa Gombe. According to explanations provided by the DGC’s Chief of Staff, Jean Jeff Mwanza, to the head of the EPST, this new building will be completed before the end of 2024. "It will be a two-story building with a ground floor covering an area of 741 square meters to house a modern conference room and 20 offices," commented Jean-Jeff Mwanza Waz Wanyi, Director of the Department. Architecturally, he continued, the ground floor will house eight offices, a reception area, and a waiting room with restroom facilities. On the first floor, there will be 12 offices, including that of the director. The second floor will be primarily reserved for the modern conference room, which can accommodate nearly 200 people. It should be noted that a few months ago, Minister Tony Mwaba had already inaugurated a meeting room bearing his name, built by RTEDUC. This department has also acquired additional buildings in recent months, always with the aim of improving working conditions within the Ministry of EPST. It should be noted that well before this groundbreaking ceremony, the minister closed the workshop for inspectors on the development of the Procedure Manual for Certification Assessments. This workshop, which lasted nearly a week, took place in the aforementioned meeting room. Moïse Dianyishayi
