Gathered in the computer lab of the Mont-Amba Educational Province in the Limete district of Kinshasa, academic deans, educational advisors, and discipline directors from non-contracted public secondary schools took part on Monday, March 20, in a working session organized by the director of the Mont-Amba Educational Province, Astrid Nambuji.
The purpose of this meeting was to assess the current state of teaching and student discipline in the schools, as well as to build the capacity of these educational administrators.
According to Ms. Astrid Nambuji, this meeting followed an observation of weaknesses in educational management at non-contracted public secondary schools during an inspection tour on Wednesday, March 15.
In order to provide her superiors with a well-structured report, the head of this district, Astrid Nambuji, announced that Fridays will henceforth be dedicated to evaluating these school visits.
Astrid Nambuji wants it to be known that “Wednesday School Visits,” decreed by the Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST), Professor Tony Mwaba, she says, are being successfully implemented in the Mont-Amba educational province.
