Jean-Marie Mvunzu, recently appointed head of the Kinshasa/Funa educational province, has established a task force to combat anti-social behavior. He made the announcement on Thursday, November 9, during a meeting with school principals in his jurisdiction. The event was attended by the Provincial Chief Inspector (IPP) and the Diprocope. “We have brought here what we initiated in Tshangu: the Anti-Anti-Values Brigade. We invite all teachers to join this brigade so that reports can be made immediately and measures can be taken in a timely manner.“Therefore, anyone who seeks to perpetuate anti-values in our schools will be held accountable,” he emphasized. Mr. Jean Marie Mvunzu also called on school principals to exercise common sense and self-sacrifice for the smooth functioning of the Kinshasa/Funa educational province. “We will stand with those who agree to follow instructions and walk with us. Those who cling to anti-values will find us standing in their way. This is about child protection and free primary education, so we will be very uncompromising,” stressed the Provincial Education Director, Jean-Marie Mvunzu. The new Director of the Kinshasa/Funa Educational Province served as the head of Kinshasa/Tshangu from 2021 to 2023. Ouriel Mangitukwa & Hugo Kambala
