Kongo Central 2: Provincial supervisors undergo capacity-building training

On Wednesday, November 15, Jean Tshisekedi, director of the Kongo Central 2 Educational Province, launched a capacity-building workshop for provincial supervisors. The goal is to support members of parent committees and school management advisors in developing a school improvement plan. In his remarks, the head of this educational jurisdiction, Jean Tshisekedi, called on participants to demonstrate specific skills. He added that these skills are essential to the success of the upcoming workshop, which will be organized for members of parent committees and school management advisors. This three-day workshop brings together participants from the Mbanza-Ngungu 2 and Songololo 1 sub-districts, who were pre-selected based on a prerequisite assessment test. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), which is supporting this training, cites the lack of proficiency observed among elementary school principals in developing improvement plans as the reason for its initiative.
