On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, students at Ntuadisi and Kinzolani elementary schools in the Kwilu Ngongo subdistrict of the Kongo Central 2 educational province received new school kits from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). These kits include backpacks, notebooks, pens, rulers, and pencils. This donation is the result of a long-standing partnership between this United Nations agency and the Ministry of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST). “I am deeply moved by this gesture. I see it as a huge relief for parents. Our children deserve this kind of support. On behalf of the students, the parents, and myself, I extend my gratitude to the partner and the provincial authorities for choosing my school,” explained one of the school administrators. It should be noted that this distribution will take place throughout the Kongo Central 2 educational province, an entity headed by Director Jean Tshisekedi Kabasele. Cephora Kokanzo
