The acting governor of Mongala, Beaudouin Yenga Malembe, officially launched the 2024–2025 State Exam’s out-of-session exams this Monday at Monzoto mwa Tongo High School. A total of 11,520 candidates, including 3,789 girls (32.8%), are spread across 36 testing centers covering 8 sub-divisions. These exams are organized under the auspices of the Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship. One notable feature of this year’s exams in the Mongala 1 educational province is that students in the Pedagogy track will not take the French oral exam. Instead, they will present their internship reports, explained Françoise Mombo Banda, Provincial Chief Inspector. The Provincial Director of Education, Jean-Claude Kilonga, praised the national authorities’ commitment to education. He called on candidates to strictly follow the instructions and urged supervisors to avoid any form of favoritism or leniency. Finally, the Provincial Minister of the Interior encouraged the final-year students to give their best, assuring them that the evaluation is based on the official curricula. Ivan-Honoré Mudiangombe
