North Kivu 1: proved Luc Gbaweza mobilizes his staff for a successful start to the new school year

The Director of the North Kivu 1 Educational Province is committed to ensuring a smooth start to the 2024–2025 school year in accordance with the established schedule. On Wednesday, August 14, Luc Gbaweza convened a meeting of the expanded Provincial Committee to discuss preparations.

During this meeting, the focus was on disseminating Instruction No. 0130/2024 of August 7, 2024, issued by the Minister of State, Minister of National Education and New Citizenship, to ensure its strict implementation.

To this end, educational administrators and stakeholders “discussed, in particular:

- the establishment of the committee to monitor student enrollment;

- planning school visits at the start of the school year

- and the strengthening of collaboration between schools and Parent-Teacher Associations (PTA)."

All participants unanimously agreed on the establishment of a commission tasked with conducting a thorough review of student enrollment in schools.

It should be noted that the committee to monitor student enrollment will operate under the direct authority of the Provincial Governor and is scheduled to begin its activities on Monday, August 19.
