North Kivu 1: The provincial committee for national education and new citizenship discusses the organization of RAP

The Provincial Committee on National Education and New Citizenship of the North Kivu 1 Educational Province met under the chairmanship of Proved Luc Gbaweza Kabango. The main objectives were to evaluate the 2023–2024 school year, prepare for the provincial meeting of the Annual Performance Review, and propose tuition fees for the 2024–2025 school year. The evaluation of the 2023-2024 school year helped identify strengths and areas for improvement for the coming year. The procedures for the 2024 Annual Performance Review were also discussed to ensure optimal organization of this major event. Participants proposed tuition fees for the 2024-2025 school year, taking into account on-the-ground realities and the funding needs of the provincial education system. This proposal will be submitted to the provincial governor for approval in the coming days. A total of 39 members of the education subsector took part in this meeting, including two women and 37 men.
