The Implementation Unit for Funding for Fragile States (CFEF) has announced that it has already received 59 new schools for Kongo Central Province as part of the 145 Territories Development Program (PDL). The school buildings are distributed across the various territories of this port province. The CFEF reports that there are 15 primary schools in the Kasangulu territory, 12 primary schools in Mbanza Ngungu, 12 more schools in Tshela, 11 schools in Seke Banza, and the Madimba territory rounds out the list with 9 schools. The construction of these school facilities is part of the Head of State’s vision to improve the quality of education and the learning conditions for Congolese students in order to consolidate free primary education. This reform, initiated by the Head of State, has enabled millions of children previously excluded from the Congolese education system to attend school. Célestin Zeula
