The Annual Performance Review (APR) conference in Tshangu resulted in several recommendations, most of which are reflected in the Sectoral Strategy for Education and Training (SSEF 2016–2025). More specifically, these include: - Promoting an equitable education system that fosters growth and employment; - Creating the necessary conditions for a high-quality education system; - Improving governance and management of the sector. “Based on these three pillars, a list of recommendations has emerged that address the realities of our province,” said Jean-Marie Mvundi Mbemba, director of the Tshangu educational province. He made these remarks in an interview with the Communication Management Directorate of the Ministry of EPST following the closing ceremony of the 2023 RAP in his educational province. "Taking into account the fight against anti-values, the need to improve access, quality, and even governance, some schools were proposed for closure, while for others, improving conditions was the solution, and for still others, we requested additional desks," he noted At the conclusion of the meeting, the Tshangu PROVED asked all educational leaders and stakeholders to recognize the challenges that must be addressed to improve the quality of and access to national education. "We ask leaders to fully embrace the principle of free education and the fight against anti-values, which remains a battleground for everyone within this sub-sector that is the EPST today. "We have invited all stakeholders, starting with religious partners and even state-level education providers. We urge everyone to embrace these recommendations so that our province can shine in the coming year," he concluded. The Annual Performance Review (RAP) meeting took place from Wednesday, August 2, to Friday, August 4, in the Tshangu educational province. Deborah Kabuya & Richard Dumby
