“The decentralization of grading centers addresses two key requirements: operational efficiency and educational equity. All provinces must benefit from the same standards of processing,” emphasizes the Minister of National Education and New Citizenship, Ms. Raïssa Malu.By entrusting part of the grading process to provincial entities, the Government intends to: - Relieve congestion at the traditional centers in Kinshasa; - Reduce logistical costs and the time required to transport exam papers; - Enhance the transparency and credibility of academic results; - Promote local teaching expertise. This initiative is part of a comprehensive reform vision aimed at modernizing the national education system, in accordance with the Government’s Development Program and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on quality education. The Ministry reaffirms its determination to continue reforms aimed at the inclusivity, accountability, and performance of the education system, in the best interests of Congolese students and the future of the country.
