In an official statement, No. MINEPST/SG/80/0067/2023, dated January 30, 2023, Ms. Christine Nepa Nepa Kabala, Secretary General for Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST), Christine Nepa Nepa Kabala, informs retired teachers who have already received their end-of-career benefits that their files are being forwarded to the National Social Security Fund for State Public Servants (CNSSAP) for the processing of their pensions. This information emerged from discussions on Monday, January 30, 2023, between the minister in charge, Professor Tony Mwaba Kazadi, and the Director General of the National Social Security Fund for State Public Servants. The Secretary General of the EPST announced that all retired teachers will now receive their pensions through the CNSSAP, as the process for their administration has already begun. Christine Nepa Nepa also specified that teachers affected by the pension changes are asked to contact the nearest CNSSAP office for further information. "The National Social Security Fund for State Public Servants (CNSSAP) will provide further details on the distribution of its offices and the practical steps teachers should take," wrote the head of the EPST administration.
