On Thursday, March 20, 2025, the Francophonie Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, under the leadership of Mr. Ernest Ntombi, organized a training session and a gathering to highlight the various Provincial Educational Inspectors (IPP), Principals, Inspectors, and French teachers from the Tshangu educational province. The purpose of this event was to encourage educators to reflect on strategies to adopt for this exam, which differs from the traditional essay, and to stimulate creative thinking through constructive dialogue on the most relevant issues of our time. The theme chosen for this year is: “How can innovation stimulate the industrialization of the SADC as well as the growth and development of its economy?” To ensure that teachers are fully prepared, it is essential that they consult the website www.sadc.int, which will serve as a guide for the competition. The goal is to enhance the quality of education and promote a positive image of the country. During his address, Mr. Ernest Ntombi also provided some essential guidelines and instructions that students must follow: - The essay must be a minimum of 1,100 words and a maximum of 1,200 words in French. - The entry form must be fully completed and clearly legible. - At the end of the essay, the student must indicate the number of words used. - Participation in the contest is free. The following educational provinces are targeted for this contest: Lukunga, Funa, Mont-Amba, Tshangu, Kin-Plateau, Kongo-Central 1, 2, and 3, and Kwango 1. It is also important to note that the deadline for submitting applications is May 31, 2025, and that all educational provinces must organize this contest by April 12, 2025. Nodriche Kasai
