Strategic meeting between Minister of State Raïssa Malu and Major General Jean Pierre Kasongo Kabwik of the Service National

On Monday, August 5, 2024, a meeting took place in the office of the Minister of State for National Education and New Citizenship. She received Major General Jean Pierre Kasongo Kabwik, Head of the National Service, in audience.

This meeting, characterized by a sharing of mutual experiences, was marked by constructive and enriching discussions. Major General Kasongo presented the Minister of State with an overview of the National Service’s various achievements. He emphasized that, through vocational training, many at-risk youth have benefited from support that facilitates their social reintegration.

Major General Jean Pierre Kasongo Kabwik also discussed the standards applied by the National Service in school construction. This topic drew particular interest from the Minister of State, given that school construction is a key component of the Government’s Action Program in the field of national education.

The Minister of State expressed her support for the National Service’s initiatives and demonstrated her willingness to collaborate closely with this institution.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the head of the National Service presented the Minister of State with a copy of the “Oath of the Nation Builder.” This symbolic gesture acknowledges the Minister of State’s responsibility to oversee and ensure the development of a new generation of competent and ethical citizens.
