The Deputy Director of the Funa Educational Province, Jude Nkaka, and the Mayor of the Kasa-Vubu municipality, Phinnées Massombo, visited several testing centers for the National Selection and Academic and Vocational Guidance Test (TENASOSP), which began on Thursday, June 15, and concluded on Friday, June 16. From Toyokana High School to Athénée de Victoire, Kasa-Vubu 1, 2, and 3, these two officials noted with satisfaction that the instructions issued for the organization of this test were being followed. “We visited the various testing centers to observe the administration of this very important test. The situation is commendable because it is proceeding under good conditions. We also encouraged the students because this is about their future direction,” Mr. Massombo told the press. The deputy principal took the opportunity to urge candidates to remain focused during this exam, which will allow their advisors to properly guide them for the remainder of their academic journey. “We held meetings as part of local supervision with school principals and the staff involved, including the students. We observed that instructions were strictly followed, particularly regarding the registration of candidates in accordance with the law to verify that they had indeed completed their academic curriculum up to the eighth grade,” he explained. The Funa Educational Province registered a total of 27,895 eighth-grade final-year candidates across 53 centers. It should be noted that the official launch ceremony for the National Test for Academic and Vocational Selection and Orientation (TENASOSP) was presided over by the Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST), Tony Mwaba, at Sainte Rita School in the municipality of Mont-Ngafula.
