Professor Kitengie, Deputy Inspector General of the EPST, the national coordinator of Catholic charter schools, and educational authorities in Haut-Katanga 1 expressed their satisfaction following the successful administration of the National Selection, Academic, and Career Guidance Test (TENASOP) in this educational province.

They made this known following a supervisory visit to several testing centers on Friday, June 16, 2023.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the conditions under which eighth-grade students took the test in this region.

“We have just visited the TENASOP testing centers as part of our oversight. Overall, everything is well organized in the Upper Katanga 1 educational province. I saw the children working under the best possible conditions, in a calm environment, and above all, with discipline. I would like to congratulate the educational authorities of this province for the seriousness I observed in their organization,” said Abbé Noël N’Tungu Bisibu, coordinator of the Catholic charter schools in Haut-Katanga 1.

Among the schools visited were the Beracka School Complex, Étoile Brillante High School, and the Moto Institute located within the Kiwele complex.

For this second edition of TENASOSP, the Haut-Katanga 1 educational province registered 97,324 candidates, including 47,570 girls and 49,754 boys. All were distributed across 212 testing centers.
