Jean Tshisekedi, Director of the Kongo Central 2 Educational Province, visited several schools in Mbanza-Ngungu to assess the conditions under which classes are held in this part of the country This visit is part of “Mercredi Itinérance,” an initiative launched by Tony Mwaba Kazadi, Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST). The Provincial Director took the opportunity to further raise awareness among Edap students, particularly those in 6th grade who will take the National Primary School Graduation Exam (ENAFEP) in a few days. “...I asked the children a few questions, and they answered perfectly. I am proud of them and their teachers... “We are the authorities, and we must visit you regularly. I encourage you to take your studies seriously. Stay focused and work hard,” he told the sixth-grade students. In addition, Proved Jean Tshisekedi held working sessions with several school principals to review the administrative and educational documents at their disposal. It should be noted that Tony Mwaba Kazadi, the National Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST), declared Wednesday a “field visit day” to allow officials from his ministry to witness firsthand the work being done on the ground in their respective jurisdictions.
