A five-member delegation from the Democratic Republic of the Congo has been participating since Tuesday, June 24, in the second session of the African Educational Resources Forum, held in the Togolese capital, Lomé. The Congolese delegation is led by the chief of staff to the Minister of State, Minister of National Education and New Citizenship. It also includes the Director-General of DIPROMAD, the Director-General of DIFORE-BG, and two senior officials from the Ministry of Culture and Arts. This continental meeting brings together public, private, and civil society actors around four main themes: 1. Strengthening collaboration among stakeholders in the educational resources chain; 2. Improving the quality of educational resources in French-speaking sub-Saharan African countries; 3. Optimizing the sharing of African educational resources; 4. Improving access to educational resources in French-speaking Africa, particularly through teacher training and the strengthening of educational resource management information systems (SIGE/RE). Each of these themes is broken down into subthemes to facilitate in-depth discussions and concrete recommendations for improving the accessibility, quality, and use of educational resources on the continent.
