The Deputy Minister of National Education and New Citizenship, Théodore Kazadi Muayila, launched the preparatory work for the review of the education sector on Tuesday, April 14, in Kinshasa. He represented the Minister of State, Raïssa Malu, at a ceremony held at the Cercle Le Gourmand in the Gombe district.
In his remarks, the Deputy Minister noted that these proceedings align with the vision of President Félix Tshisekedi, who places education at the heart of human capital development.
He specified that this work covers four key subsectors: general education, higher education, vocational training, and social affairs.
The objective is to evaluate the implementation of the Sectoral Strategy for Education and Training (2016–2025), while laying the groundwork for the new strategic cycle planned for the period 2026–2030.
Participants were asked to produce in-depth analyses and formulate concrete recommendations, particularly regarding quality, equity, governance, and financing of the education system.
Shortly before officially opening the proceedings, Deputy Minister Théodore Kazadi Muayila urged the experts to demonstrate a collective commitment to building a more effective education system.
