Infection statistics in the DRC are concerning, with more than 1,700 suspected cases recorded since the beginning of the year and a case fatality rate of 3.4%. The most affected provinces, such as Equateur and South Ubangi, require increased vigilance. The Ministry of Public Health emphasizes the need to educate children on good health practices.
