Boniface Mbaka officially takes over the reins of DINACOPE

The handover ceremony between the incoming Director-Head of Department, Boniface Mbaka, and Bob Bobunda, who had been serving as acting Director-Head of the outgoing National Directorate for Oversight, Payroll Preparation, and Staffing Management of Teachers and Administrative Personnel in Educational Institutions (DINACOPE), took place on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Papy Mangobe thus handed over his position to Boniface Mbaka, who was recently appointed by Raïssa Malu, Minister of State for National Education and New Citizenship (EDU-NC).

In his remarks following the handover, the new Director Mbaka pledged to work toward a clean payroll system. He also promised to improve the quality of payroll processing and to intensify oversight at all levels.

This handover ceremony took place in the presence of the Acting Secretary General of National Education, the Chief Director of Human Resources, and several directors from DINACOPE.

As a reminder, Boniface Mbaka previously served as National Director and Head of Department at DINACOPE from 2006 to 2008. More recently, he held the position of Director in charge of payroll mechanization and monitoring within the same department.
