All’s well that ends well, as they say. After four days of stress and anxiety, the 2024 graduates can now put their school days behind them. To ensure that instructions were being followed, the Deputy Provincial Governor of Kasa-Vubu and the mayor of the municipality of the same name made the rounds of several testing centers in recent days. They visited, in turn, the centers located at Academia School, Athénée de Victoire, and Lycée 2 & 3 Kasa-Vubu. Everywhere they went, they delivered a single message: no misbehavior upon leaving the center, lest they be apprehended. “We conveyed our message of encouragement and support to them. We also asked them to behave with dignity and responsibility,” said Phinnées Massombo, mayor of Kasa-Vubu. The deputy head of Kasa-Vubu, Jude Nkaka, noted that the exams had proceeded satisfactorily. “Since there were instructions, as a representative of the Minister of State for National Education and New Citizenship, we had to ensure they were enforced within our jurisdiction. And so, from the 24th until today, the assessment has been very positive. Since we must oversee these exams until the end, that is why we went around to raise awareness among the candidates and all educational partners to ensure there are no unethical acts,” he stated. According to the Inspector General of National Education, the first results will be published in 20 days. Ouriel Mangitukwa
