Several recommendations were made at the conclusion of the meeting, including the urgent rehabilitation of several public elementary schools destroyed by natural disasters.

Here are some recommendations made by the participants in this RAP:

1. The issuance of decrees for the new public preschools established in Limete and Lemba, in order to increase the number of preschool facilities.

2. The issuance of decrees authorizing structural changes in overcrowded public primary schools to allow a greater number of children to benefit from free primary education.

3. The issuance of approval decrees for secondary schools that have requested new programs based on local needs.

4. The urgent rehabilitation of several public primary schools whose infrastructure has been damaged, notably EP 1 Kingabwa, EP 5 Lemba/Camp Kabila, as well as EP 1 and 2 Saint Félix, which were damaged by strong winds.

5. The provision of textbooks for science courses in secondary schools, in accordance with the reform of the Department of Education.

These meetings underscored the importance of accessible, quality education for the province’s development.

The authorities of this educational province have committed to presenting these recommendations to the Annual National Performance Review so that appropriate solutions capable of improving learning conditions and the quality of education can be found.
