As part of its strategy to modernize and digitize the administration, the Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship (EDU-NC) has launched a series of training sessions on computer basics and digital tools for managers and staff in central administrative offices.
These sessions were inaugurated on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in the digital room of the Directorate of Organization and Information Technology (DOI), in the presence of Joseph Kamwanga Molowayi, representative of the acting Secretary General of EDU-NC.
The mission of this training, which aims to equip participants with practical knowledge in computerized data management and the effective use of digital tools, was entrusted to the DOI, under the direction of Godé Eale Nsomb’Aoleka, Chief of Service.
In his remarks, the Acting Secretary General’s representative, Kamwanga Mulowayi, noted that new information and communication technologies in the public sector are essential drivers for improving communication, governance, and service delivery.
He emphasized the need for the ministry’s managers and staff to master the digital skills required to meet the modern challenges of public administration.
Participants were urged to fully commit themselves during the two-week training session, with the aim of optimizing the administration’s efficiency and responsiveness to contemporary demands.
The General Secretariat commended the commitment of the Minister of State for National Education and New Citizenship, Raïssa Malu, and all technical and financial partners in bringing this project to fruition.
The training takes place in groups of 20 participants per session, over 15 days, and is open to all ministry staff selected from various departments.
It should be noted that this initiative aligns with two of the guiding principles of the Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship’s 2024–2029 five-year plan, namely the strengthening of the administration and the integration of information and communication technologies.
