Exetat 2024: 19,057 candidates, including 9,754 girls, take the exams in North Kivu 1

The 2023–2024 regular session of the national exams began on Monday, June 24, 2024, across the country. Prime Minister Judith Tuluka Suminwa officially launched the exams from Kinshasa, in the presence of Raïssa Malu Dinanga, Minister of National Education and New Citizenship. In the North Kivu 1 educational province, the proceedings were launched by the military governor, Major General Peter Cirimwami Nkuba, at the Isidore Bakanja Institute. This solemn ceremony took place in the presence of National Supervisors and provincial education officials. For this session, 19,057 candidates, including 9,754 girls, are taking the exams, spread across 64 testing centers. Provincial authorities have assured that both organizational and security measures have been put in place to allow all candidates to take the exams in complete peace of mind. Several satellite testing centers have been opened in Goma to accommodate displaced students from Masisi, Rutshuru, and Nyiragongo. Nationwide, 968,304 final-year students are taking this national exam, spread across 2,960 testing centers. Cheta Birhashwirwa Riziki
