Exetat 2024: 27,818 candidates take part in out-of-session tests in Kasai-Central

Exetat 2024: 27,818 Candidates Take the Off-Session Exams in Kasai-Centra As is the case throughout the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), 27,818 high school seniors began the 2023-2024 state exam’s out-of-session exams this Monday in the two educational provinces of Kasai-Central, starting with the essay. According to Honoré Mulamba Nyunyu, Provincial Chief Inspector (IPP), 9,000 of these students are girls, representing a participation rate of 32.36%. These candidates are spread across 75 exam centers, located notably in Kananga City and in the territories of Dibaya, Kazumba, Dimbelenge, Demba, and Luiza. Martin Makita Iba-Iba, Vice Governor of Kasai Province, launched these certification exams at Tutungunuke Primary School No. 2. In his address, he paid tribute to President Félix Tshisekedi for reforms in the education sector, including the implementation of the constitutional provision for free primary education. He also asked the heads of the exam centers to carry out their duties with patriotism. These out-of-session exams continue this Tuesday, May 7, with the traditional technical elective exams. From Wednesday, May 8, to Saturday, May 11, the French oral exam is scheduled. Finally, the vocational skills exam will take place from May 13 to 18. Willy Kambulu
