In a press release issued on Monday, August 19, 2024, the General Inspectorate of National Education and New Citizenship announced that certificates of passing the 2023–2024 State Exam are now available online and accessible via mobile networks. To obtain their certificates, new graduates must enter specific codes on their phones. These codes are as follows, depending on the network: • Vodacom: *42202# • Airtel: *4122# • Orange: *4040# • Africell: *41400# The General Inspectorate emphasizes to the public—particularly students and their parents—that these certificates can only be obtained online through these networks and that, consequently, “there is no need to visit the administrative offices” of the Ministry of Education, “except for the authentication of these documents, but only if this is required by a specific agency,” the statement notes. In another press release issued at the end of the week, the General Inspectorate welcomed the completion of the publication of results for the 58th regular session of the State Exam 12 days ahead of the originally scheduled date, namely August 12: an unprecedented achievement over the past five years.
