Jean-Pierre KEZAMUDRU, Deputy Minister of National Education and New Citizenship, oversaw the launch of the 2024 State Exam in Lualaba, where he has been staying since last Sunday. In his opening remarks at the Salvator Institute, Mr. Kezamudru urged candidates to strictly adhere to the guidelines governing the conduct of the exams. A former school inspector, the Deputy Minister did not hesitate to address the graduating students regarding the causes of exam failure: “Many failures are often due to poor management of exam questions,” he revealed. For the 2024 session, Lualaba Province registered 17,357 candidates, including 7,789 girls and 9,568 boys. In Haut-Katanga Province, where he began his tour, the Deputy Minister of National Education reminded the young people of the hopes the country places in them. "Dear final-year students of Haut-Katanga, the future lies in your hands. The Congo, your country, is counting on you. I bring you a message of encouragement from Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, who wants you to achieve the best possible scores on these certification exams," he stated. It should be noted that these exams will take place from June 24 to 27. A total of 968,304 candidates across the entire country will be taking them. Alain H. Kinanga Musangu
