Exetat 2024: Deputy Minister of Education and New Citizenship to supervise tests in Kolwezi

The Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship will hold the regular session of the 2024 state exam from June 24 to 27 across the entire country. In Kolwezi, in Lualaba Province, the opening ceremony will be presided over by Jean Pierre Kezamudru Musisiri, Deputy Minister of National Education and New Citizenship. He is also expected to arrive there this Sunday, June 23, according to the Ministry’s Directorate of Communication Management (DGC), as indicated in a letter from Nikon Tshimwanga Ngwej, Head of General Services at the Provincial Directorate of Education in Lualaba, to the provincial minister in charge. “Your Excellency, Mr. Minister, I have the honor of informing you of the arrival of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of National Education and New Citizenship this Sunday, June 23, 2024, for the official launch of the regular session, Exetat 2024,” the document states. It should be noted that 962,887 students from the long cycle are taking these exams, compared to 5,417 from the short cycle, for a total of 968,304, with girls’ participation estimated at over 42%. Preparations for these exams are well underway in all 60 educational provinces of the Republic, assured Jacques Odia Musungay, Inspector General of National Education and New Citizenship.
