The release of the results of the 58th Regular Session of the State Examination (Exetat) and the National Board for the Short Cycle, originally scheduled for August 24, was successfully completed on Monday, August 12—12 days ahead of schedule. This unprecedented achievement, according to a press release signed this Friday by Inspector General Jacques Odia Musungay, is the result of several reforms carried out by the Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship. “This achievement, unmatched in the past five years, is due to innovations introduced by the Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship to ensure the reliability of the entire process, from the grading stage through to the publication of results,” the press release notes. This success is largely attributable to the supporting measures taken by Ms. Raïssa Malu, Minister of State and Minister of National Education and New Citizenship in the DRC. The strengthening of the ministry’s administration has been a key factor that “is beginning to bear fruit, re-energizing the staff of the General Inspectorate through a renewed sense of professional duty and ethics, thereby enabling the departments to fully fulfill their roles,” the document states. With the completion of the publication of results, the General Inspectorate will now begin the phase of compiling the rankings and producing the final report for this 58th Session. This report will then be submitted to the supervisory authority. Bruno Nsaka
