The exams for the 2023–2024 regular session of the national exam began this Monday in the DRC. Raïssa Malu, Minister of State and Minister of National Education and New Citizenship (MINEDN-NC), emphasized the sacrosanct principle of preventing cheating in all its forms at test centers. She expressed the hope that participants and all those involved in the certification exams would respect and enforce the rules duly established to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Congolese education system. "We emphasize the importance of calm and adherence to the rules, which includes wearing the official uniform, carrying the student ID card, and presenting the access badge to enter the testing center. It is also crucial that the entire educational community act responsibly to prevent all forms of fraud and cheating. These practices harm our children’s future and the integrity of our education system,” stated Minister of State Raïssa Malu Dinanga. In her remarks, Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tuluka reaffirmed the government’s determination to ensure the best possible conditions for all final-year students taking these exams, including those in North Kivu province. Following the official launch, which took place at Lycée Mgr Shaumba in Kinshasa-Lukunga, Prime Minister Judith Suminwa, accompanied by the Minister of MINEDN-NC, visited Lycée Bosangani in the Gombe district to ensure that the exams were proceeding smoothly.
