Exetat 2025: "A special session will be organized for areas occupied by the Rwandan army" (Raïssa Malu)

The Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship plans to organize a special session of the 2024–2025 State Exam for students living in areas occupied by M23 rebels, who are supported by Rwanda. This initiative aims to ensure that students in these provinces, particularly in North and South Kivu, can take their exams under conditions appropriate to the difficult situation they are facing Minister of National Education Raïssa Malu made this announcement during a joint press briefing with Minister of Communication and Media Patrick Muyaya on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
 "The State Exam will be adapted for these populations. It will be a special session, separate from the one organized in the rest of the country," emphasized the Minister of State.
Minister Malu reiterated that education is a sacred right, and that its impact is felt in the short, medium, and long term. In the face of this crisis, the Congolese government is committed to finding appropriate solutions to ensure access to education, even under the most difficult conditions. Célestin Zeula
