Exetat 2025/ Kasaï 1: 20,031 finalists, 42% of them girls, take part in out-of-session tests

The out-of-session exams for the State Examination began this Monday, June 2, 2025, in the Kasaï 1 educational province. A total of 20,031 graduating students, including 8,413 girls—representing 42% of female participation—are taking these exams, with the essay serving as the first stage. These exams are being held in 65 centers across the province, according to Ms. Virginie Alembe, Provincial Director of National Education and New Citizenship for Kasaï 1. She commended the thorough preparation and dedication of education stakeholders and encouraged students to maintain their commitment until the end of the process.
20,031 candidates are registered for the 2024–2025 off-session exams in the Kasaï 1 educational province, including 8,413 girls—42%—spread across 67 centers in the 15 subdivisions,” stated Virginie Alembe.
It should be noted that Vice Governor Djoley Bokele Djema presided over the official launch for the Kasaï province. The ceremony took place at the Institut du Centre. In his remarks, he congratulated parents for their involvement in girls’ education and urged the candidates to demonstrate diligence, discipline, and honesty.
“We need quality. Avoid cheating, because the country and the province of Kasaï will need you in the future,” the vice-governor emphasized.
