For his part, the Provincial Chief Inspector (PPI) of Kasaï 1, Willy Nkoy Lunsang, clarified that this allocation applies to both public and private schools. Regarding the distribution itself, a schedule will be established to ensure that school principals receive the textbooks, which they must then distribute free of charge to the beneficiaries.
“These textbooks are meant to be used from one generation to the next. Any attempt to sell them will be severely punished,” he emphasized.This distribution of textbooks is part of the efforts undertaken by the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to ensure quality education accessible to all, as outlined in the sectoral strategy for education and training.
