Ituri 1: Validation of the results of the teachers' competition and promotion of public elementary school principals

On Friday, December 28, 2025, the Provincial Commission for the Recruitment of Teaching Staff (CPRPE) approved the results of the special merit-based recruitment competition for teachers and the promotion of public elementary school principals in the ITURI 1 educational province. Of a total of 2,369 registered teacher candidates, including 1,447 women, 1,687 candidates, including 1,032 women, took part in this competition. 1,146 candidates, including 702 women, passed the competition, representing a pass rate of 68%. Regarding public school principals, a total of 681 registered candidates, including 125 women, took the exam. 469 candidates, including 85 women, passed, representing a pass rate of 79%. These results demonstrate the Ministry’s commitment to professionalizing the education workforce while ensuring equity, inclusion, and recognition of merit. This process is part of MINEDUNC’s strategic vision: to build an effective education system through transparent, rigorous, and consistent selection mechanisms.
