Kasaï Central 1: 29,117 secondary school finalists, including 9,610 girls, take part in Exetat 2024

On Monday, June 24, 2024, Job Kuyindama Kandende, Deputy Governor of Kasaï Central Province, launched the 2024 regular session of the state exam in the Kasaï Central 1 educational province in Kananga. 29,117 candidates, including 9,610 girls (33%), are taking part in these exams, spread across 76 testing centers, revealed Jacques Muamba, the Provincial Chief Inspector (IPP) of this educational province. For his part, the Provincial Director of the same educational province (Proved), Arthur Mputu, praised the commitment of Head of State Félix Tshisekedi to improving the quality of education in the country, before encouraging the candidates to do their best to achieve results that bring honor to their educational province. Addressing the candidates, Vice Governor Job Kuyindama emphasized the crucial importance of education for young people, which he described as the foundation of the country’s development. He reiterated this message at the state exam centers he visited, a gesture appreciated and viewed as an encouragement by the candidates and all staff members. National statistics show 968,304 registered final-year candidates spread across 2,960 testing centers. These exams were officially launched in Kinshasa by Prime Minister Judith Tuluka Suminwa in the presence of the Minister of National Education and New Citizenship, Raïssa Malu Dinanga.
