The provincial workshop focused on developing the education system roadmap concluded on Wednesday, March 25, in the Lomami 1 educational province, in Ngandajika. The closing ceremony was presided over by the provincial Minister of Education, Lebon Mpanya.
Over the course of three days, key stakeholders in the sector pooled their expertise to provide the province with a clear strategic framework aimed at achieving sustainable improvements in access, quality, and governance in education.
Four priority areas guided the proceedings: improving the quality of teaching and learning, strengthening governance and coordination, promoting equitable and inclusive access, and embedding new citizenship and republican values.
At the conclusion of the conference, a roadmap deemed crucial was adopted. It is intended to serve as a genuine lever for transforming the provincial education system. Minister Lebon Mpanya called on participants to translate the recommendations into concrete, measurable, and high-impact actions without delay.
The conference also highlighted the sector’s main challenges while proposing realistic and innovative solutions tailored to the local context.
Participants in these proceedings included the PROVEDs, the IPPs, the provincial directors of DINACOPE, DISPROSERNIE, the sub-PROVEDs, the INSPOOLs for primary and secondary education, as well as the heads of the DINACOPE and SERNIE branches.
